“The Sensor S15 is a single-motor upright for daily carpet work where one operator pushes the vacuum for hours: hotel housekeeping, offices and contract cleaning routes. Running one 1,200-watt motor instead of two keeps the machine at 16.5 pounds and the handle light, and the flat-to-floor handle reaches under beds and desks.
The built-in safeguards are what set it apart. It won't run without a bag and filter in place, and indicator lights flag a full bag, a brush-height problem or a jammed brush, then shut the machine down if the warning is ignored. That is useful with rotating staff, because the vacuum tells the operator what needs attention. The crevice and upholstery tools ride on the back, and the brush comes out without tools.
One thing to weigh: the standard filter is high-efficiency, rated at 99.6% at 0.3 microns, but it is not HEPA. If you need HEPA, add the Sensor HEPA filter kit or look at the dual-motor Versamatic HEPA 14, which has HEPA filtration as standard.”

The Kärcher Sensor S15 (1.012-616.0) is a single-motor commercial upright vacuum with a 15-inch cleaning path. Its 1,200 W vacuum motor delivers 105 cfm of airflow and 90 inches of water lift, and Kärcher says the single-motor design keeps weight down and the handle light to reduce operator fatigue. The brush turns at 2,700 rpm, with four pile height positions.
A standard high-efficiency filter traps 99.6% of particles at 0.3 microns, and a HEPA filter kit is available as an option. The vacuum won't run without a bag and filter in place, and indicator lights warn of a full bag, a brush-height problem or a brush jam. Kärcher rates practical productivity at 3,137 sq ft per hour.
