“The Versamatic HEPA 18 is the wide-path member of the Versamatic family, aimed at buildings with long corridors, ballrooms, open offices and other big stretches of carpet. It uses the same dual-motor layout as the 14-inch model, one motor for suction and a separate motor for the brush, and Kärcher rates it at 3,881 square feet per hour.
HEPA filtration is standard, so it fits healthcare facilities, hotels and other buildings where indoor air quality matters. The brush turns at 2,700 rpm on an enclosed toothed belt with an electronic clutch protecting the motor and belt, and the 40-foot cord and detachable hose round out a machine built for daily runs.
The trade-off is width. An 18-inch machine is less nimble around desks, beds and furniture, so for guest rooms and tight offices the Versamatic HEPA 14 is the easier fit. Detail tools are optional on both, so add the Versamatic tool kit if your crew needs above-floor reach.”

The Kärcher Versamatic HEPA 18 (1.012-607.0) is a dual-motor commercial upright vacuum with HEPA filtration as standard. Separate vacuum and brush motors power an 18-inch machine, and an enclosed, non-slip toothed belt drives the brush at 2,700 rpm. An electronic clutch protects the motor and belt, and a pile height control adjusts the brush for different carpets.
A detachable hose allows quick detail vacuuming. Kärcher rates practical productivity at 3,881 sq ft per hour, and the vacuum runs on 120 V with a 40-foot power cord at a 70 dB(A) sound level. Kärcher says the HEPA filtration helps improve indoor air quality and the machine helps extend carpet life, and it lists hotels, retail, building service contractors and healthcare facilities as applications.
