“The Sensor S2 12 HEPA is a single-motor commercial upright for daily vacuuming in hotel rooms, classrooms, patient rooms and senior living. The 12 in head suits furnished rooms and tight spaces, and HEPA final-stage filtration comes standard, which matters wherever indoor air quality is part of the job.
The design leans toward reliability and easy service. The bag-full and check-brush indicators are mechanical rather than electronic, all of the electronics sit in the base instead of running through the swivel, and the power cord changes without tools. At 20 lb with a 6 in lay-flat height, it reaches under beds and furniture, and Kärcher rates it quiet enough for daytime cleaning in noise-sensitive areas. Crevice and upholstery tools come with it for edges and furniture.
The trade-off is coverage. A 12 in path takes more passes in open areas, and this is a single-motor upright with a belt-driven brush rather than a separate brush motor. If the building is mostly corridors and open offices, the Sensor S2 14 HEPA covers 2,917 sq ft per hour against 2,510 for the 12 with the same motor and filtration.”

The Kärcher Sensor S2 12 HEPA (1.012-070.0) is a 120 V commercial upright vacuum with a 12 in cleaning path and a 1.3 hp (1,000 W) single motor. It moves 105 cfm of air with 90 in of water lift into a 1.4 gal three-layer paper bag, and HEPA final-stage filtration comes standard. Kärcher rates practical productivity at 2,510 sq ft per hour and positions it for hospitality, education, healthcare and senior living.
Bag-full and check-brush indicators are mechanical, all electronics are housed in the base to reduce wear on the swivel and connectors, and the 40 ft power cord can be changed without tools. The brush strip is replaceable and driven by a non-slip belt, and brush height adjusts by foot. The vacuum weighs 20 lb and lays flat to 6 in to clean under beds and furniture.
