“The Clipper 12 is a self-contained carpet extractor for facilities with a lot of carpet to restore: hotels, schools, office buildings and conference centers. It has an 18-inch path, 12-gallon solution and recovery tanks, and a practical productivity rating of 3,200 square feet per hour from Kärcher.
The flip handle is the feature to notice. It lets the operator push or pull the machine, which Kärcher says increases extraction productivity, and the controls sit at the fingertips. The recovery tank lifts off for dumping, the solution tank is easy to fill, and a 1.5 hp, 3-stage bypass vacuum motor works through a floating vacuum shoe. An optional hard floor kit adds a brush, squeegee and water pressure reduction switch for hard surfaces.
Keep in mind that it is a full-size machine at about 105 pounds, so it suits buildings where it can roll from room to room. For smaller rooms and tighter spaces, the 15-inch Admiral 8 or Cadet 7 is easier to handle.”

The Kärcher Clipper 12 (1.008-025.0) is a carpet extractor with an 18-inch cleaning path and 12-gallon solution and recovery tanks. A three-stage, bypass, 1.5 hp vacuum motor rated at 120 inches of water lift recovers through a floating vac shoe that follows the contour of the floor, and the 18-inch cylindrical brush adjusts to eight cleaning positions plus a storage position.
The flip handle allows push or pull operation, and fingertip controls and an intuitive control panel keep training simple. The recovery tank lifts off for dumping and the solution tank is easy to fill. Accessory tools attach to quick-connect ports for upholstery, stairs and detail areas, and an optional hard floor kit includes a standard brush, squeegee and water pressure reduction switch.
