New Karcher PS 4/7 Bp Electrostatic Sprayer
Our Take (from the SES Sales Team)
“The PS 4/7 Bp Electrostatic is a rolling, battery-powered disinfectant sprayer for buildings with a lot of touch points: clinics, nursing homes, schools, day cares and transit vehicles. It carries a 1-gallon chemical tank on four swivel casters and runs off a 12 V battery, so there is no cord to drag from room to room.
What stands out is the choice of spray modes. With the satchel switch off it works as a directional sprayer; switch it on and the droplets, about 100 microns, pick up an electrostatic charge that helps them wrap around and cling to surfaces instead of drifting as mist. Kärcher rates it at 100 psi and 0.05 gpm, with about 8 hours of continuous spraying per battery charge.
Keep in mind that it is built for disinfectants labeled for spraying, such as Vital Oxide or Disinfectant 220, and operators still need gloves, a mask and eye protection. The satchel runs on two AA cells that are replaced, not recharged, and the main battery takes about 5 hours to charge.”

The Kärcher PS 4/7 Bp Electrostatic Sprayer (1.007-090.0) applies disinfectant at 100 psi and 0.05 gpm from a 1-gallon chemical tank. Its electrostatic satchel adds a static charge to droplets of approximately 100 microns, so they tend to wrap around objects and stick to oppositely charged surfaces rather than float as a mist. Kärcher states that no adjustments are needed for consistent coverage.
A 12 V battery gives about 8 hours of continuous spraying per charge, and the charger plugs into a standard 120 V outlet. The sprayer rolls on four swivel casters with rubber wheels, has a low center of gravity and a compact 20-inch height for storage or transport. Kärcher lists hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, schools, day care facilities and transportation as typical applications.
