“The Radiant with ORB Technology is a 17-inch orbital floor machine for facility crews and contractors who strip, scrub and maintain several floor types with one machine. Every point on the pad oscillates at 1,725 rpm while the whole pad turns at 80 rpm, and because the pad lies flat, the machine runs without the side-to-side pull of a rotary buffer.
Two details stand out. The on-board 4.75-gallon solution tank keeps solution on the machine for better control and less waste, and the deck can be raised for pad changes without tipping the machine on its back. Kärcher lists chemical-free finish removal, low-moisture carpet encapsulation, tile and grout scrubbing, stone polishing and concrete cleaning among its jobs.
The trade-off is that it only scrubs. There is no vacuum or recovery tank, so plan on a wet vac or an auto scrubber for pickup. It also weighs 95 pounds, so loading it into a vehicle is a two-person job unless you have a ramp.”

The Kärcher Radiant with ORB Technology is a 17-inch corded orbital floor machine. Every point on the pad oscillates at 1,725 rpm in a 3/8-inch orbit while the entire pad spins at 80 rpm, and the pad lies flat on the floor for even wear and low vibration. Kärcher lists chemical-free finish removal, low-moisture carpet encapsulation, tile and grout, stone polishing, and wood, VCT, vinyl and concrete floors among its uses.
An integrated 4.75-gallon solution tank feeds the pad, and the deck can be raised to change pads without tipping the machine on its back. It has no isolators to wear out and doesn't need the safety switch square-type machines use. The 1 hp motor runs on 120 V with a 50 ft cord, 10-inch wheels handle transport, and an optional 40 lb weight kit adds pad pressure.
