“The BDS 43/Duo C is a 17-inch orbital floor machine for crews that want one walk-behind machine for several jobs: chemical-free stripping, interim carpet encapsulation, tile and grout scrubbing and stone care. Kärcher's ORB Technology moves the pad in a 3/8-inch orbit at 1,725 rpm while the whole pad turns at 80 rpm, so the pad stays flat instead of swinging like a rotary buffer.
That low-vibration action is the main reason to pick it. Operators don't fight the handle, pads wear evenly, and the adjustable vertical handle folds down for transport. This Duo C version adds a removable solution bottle with a pump spray controlled from the handle, and it comes with an aluminum pad driver and glider set.
Keep in mind that it has no vacuum, so on hard floors you still pick up slurry with a wet vac or mop. At 102 pounds it takes some effort to load into a van, and if you don't need on-board solution, Kärcher's BDS 43/Duo C Classic is the same machine without the bottle.”

The Kärcher BDS 43/Duo C is a 17-inch corded floor machine built around ORB Technology. The pad moves in a 3/8-inch orbit at 1,725 rpm while it rotates at 80 rpm, and it stays in full contact with the floor. Kärcher lists carpet, stone, tile and grout, wood, vinyl, concrete and epoxy among its surfaces, with chemical-free stripping, interim carpet encapsulation and tile and grout cleaning as typical jobs.
This Duo C model carries a removable solution bottle in a cage on the handle frame. A pump feeds the spray, a button on the handle applies it, and a lever adjusts spray pressure. The 1 hp motor draws 11 A on a 120 V circuit through a 75 ft cord. The vertical handle adjusts for operator height and folds for transport, and an optional 40 lb weight kit adds pad pressure.
