“The Supernova 800PSN is built for facilities with a lot of carpet to maintain: office floors, school hallways, hotel corridors and other open areas. What sets it apart is two-way cleaning. A lever switches the machine between forward and reverse, so the operator cleans on both the push and the pull instead of dragging the machine back over a finished path.
It pairs a 19-inch chevron brush turning at 2,100 RPM with dual 2-stage vacuum motors rated at 200 CFM and dual spray jets on both sides of the brush. The 8-gallon solution tank keeps the machine 10 lb lighter than the 12-gallon 1200PSN, and the lift-off recovery buckets empty without a drain hose. A side extension cleans tight to baseboards, and the clamshell body opens up for service.
The trade-off is size. At 113 lb and 39 inches long, it is not the machine for small offices or buildings with a lot of stairs. If you don't need two-way operation, the Polaris 801PS has the same 8-gallon tank and 19-inch path with a 120 psi pump.”

The EDIC Supernova 800PSN is a self-contained carpet extractor that cleans in both forward and reverse. A pull of the lever switches direction to assist movement and reduce operator strain. It holds 8 gallons of solution, sprays at 85 psi through dual spray jets on both sides of the brush, and recovers with dual 2-stage bypass vacuum motors rated at 200 CFM.
The 19-inch chevron brush turns at 2,100 RPM on sealed stainless steel ball bearings, and the brush and vacuum shoes self-adjust and self-level for different carpet lengths and uneven floors. Lift-off recovery buckets empty without a drain hose, the 50 ft cord detaches so you can wheel the machine away to dump, and the clamshell body opens for internal access.
