“This kit is EDIC's ready-to-work package around the compact Galaxy 5. It pairs the 5-gallon, 120 psi heat-ready extractor with a 2000-watt Heat N'Run external heater, a Glidemaster stainless steel carpet wand and a 25 ft vacuum hose and solution line, so a small carpet cleaning business, property manager or detailer can start hot-water extraction with everything matched.
The Glidemaster is the traditional choice: a 12-inch, dual-jet, double-bend stainless steel wand with a 1.5-inch polished stainless vacuum tube and a 1200 psi brass angle valve. Its low-profile head and angled tube reach under furniture and overhangs. The heater hangs on the back of the extractor, keeps heat out of the motor compartment, and is ready in about 1.5 to 3 minutes.
Plan for power before the first job: EDIC says the heater and the extractor must plug into separate outlets on separate circuits. At 7.4 lb the Glidemaster is heavier than the 6.5 lb Triton in the 500BX-HRH-TK kit, which matters over a long day of wanding.”

The EDIC 500BX-HRH-WK kit combines the Galaxy 5 500BX-HR heat-ready portable extractor with a 2000-watt Heat N'Run external heater, a Glidemaster double-bend, dual-jet stainless steel carpet wand, and a 25 ft vacuum hose and high-pressure solution line. The extractor has a 5-gallon solution tank, a 4-gallon recovery tank, a 120 psi pump and a single 3-stage vacuum motor with 136 inches of water lift.
The Heat N'Run heater mounts on the back of the extractor, draws 16.6 amps and runs on its own 50 ft power cord. The Glidemaster wand has a 12-inch head, a 60-inch length and a 1.5-inch polished stainless vacuum tube, weighs 7.4 lb, and uses a 1200 psi brass angle valve. The extractor weighs 57 lb and runs on a 25 ft detachable cord.
