“The Galaxy Auto 3000 is EDIC's extractor for car dealers, detail shops and fleet operators who clean vehicle interiors all day. It comes with heat, a 15 ft hose and a stainless steel upholstery tool, so it is ready for seats, carpets and floor mats when it arrives.
The design choices fit detailing. The 120 psi pump is low-flow, so it puts down less water than a standard carpet extractor and interiors aren't left soaked. The 1000 W heater is external, keeping heat away from the vacuum and pump, and it lifts off in under 15 seconds if it ever needs service. With that 1000 W heater, the whole machine runs on a single 50 ft cord, so you don't have to hunt for a second circuit in the bay.
The trade-off is capacity and size. At 88 lb with a 12-gallon tank, it is more machine than a detailer working out of a van may want; EDIC's 5-gallon Galaxy 5 auto unit is the smaller option. For large carpeted rooms, a standard-flow carpet extractor will work faster.”

The EDIC Galaxy Auto 3000 (3139BX-EH) is a portable carpet extractor built for automotive detailing. It comes standard with a 1000 W external in-line heater, which EDIC rates at 170 degrees, a 15 ft low-moisture, high-heat hose assembly and a stainless steel auto upholstery tool, and it runs everything on a single 50 ft detachable cord.
The low-flow 120 psi pump puts down less moisture than EDIC's standard carpet extractor pumps, which EDIC says takes less energy to extract and to heat. A single 3-stage vacuum provides 117 inches of water lift, with a 12-gallon solution tank and 11-gallon recovery tank. The heater mounts outside the body and lifts off for service, and the polyethylene body sits on a 1/4-inch aluminum baseplate with 10-inch rear wheels and 4-inch casters.
