“This kit builds a complete hot-water carpet cleaning setup around the 220 psi Galaxy Pro 2700IX-HR. It suits facility crews and carpet cleaning contractors who maintain a lot of carpet in offices, schools, apartments and hotels and want 17 gallons of solution per fill. The kit adds EDIC's 2000-watt Heat N'Run external heater, a Triton carpet wand and a 25 ft hose assembly.

The Triton wand stands out. EDIC puts its total weight at 6.5 lb, with a UHMW plastic glide shoe and a dual-jet head laid out so the two spray patterns don't overlap, and the spray-tip manifold comes off in seconds for cleaning. Recovery comes from dual 3-stage vacuum motors with 190 inches of water lift, and the heater hangs on the back of the extractor, away from the motor compartment.

Plan your power: EDIC wants the heater and the extractor on separate circuits. For restorative work on heavily soiled carpet, the 500 psi 2700CX-HRH-TK kit gives more spray force, and if your crew prefers a stainless wand, the 2700IX-HRH-WK kit uses the Glidemaster.”

The EDIC 2700IX-HRH-TK kit is built on the Galaxy Pro 2700IX-HR heat-ready portable extractor: a 17-gallon solution tank, a 15-gallon recovery tank, a 220 psi pump and dual 3-stage vacuum motors with 190 inches of water lift and 91 CFM. The extractor runs on a 50 ft detachable cord and weighs 95 lb.

The kit includes EDIC's Heat N'Run 2000-watt external heater with its own 50 ft cord, a Triton carpet wand and a 25 ft vacuum hose with high-pressure solution line. The Triton weighs 6.5 lb and has an aircraft aluminum wand tube, a UHMW glide, a brass spray tube, stainless steel dual jets and a 1200 psi valve. The heater mounts on brackets on the back of the extractor.
