“The Saturn HD 20LS4 is the 20-inch version of EDIC's heavy-duty low-speed floor machine, built for work that is hard on a standard buffer. EDIC lists it for sanding, screening, stone care and concrete work, along with the usual scrape-offs, stripping, scrubbing and bonnet cleaning.
The motor is the main difference from a standard Saturn. It is a 1.5 HP totally enclosed, fan-cooled design, so the dust and moisture from sanding or stone work stay out of it. At 116 lb the machine puts real weight on the pad, and up to two of EDIC's 21 lb horseshoe weights can be added when a floor needs more down pressure. The all-steel triple planetary gearbox, chrome-plated motor cover and quick-disconnect pigtail on the 50 ft cord suit contractors who run a machine hard every day.
The trade-off is weight and bulk. For routine stripping and bonnet cleaning in an office or school, the standard 20-inch Saturn 20LS3 is lighter and handles those everyday jobs. If you work in smaller rooms, the 17-inch Saturn HD 17LS4 weighs 113 lb.”

The EDIC Saturn HD 20LS4-BK-SV is a 20-inch heavy-duty low-speed floor machine. A 1.5 HP, 66-frame totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) motor drives the pad at 172 RPM through an all-steel triple planetary severe-duty gearbox. EDIC lists it for sanding, screening, stone care and concrete work as well as stripping, scrubbing, scrape-offs, bonnet cleaning and shampooing.
The machine weighs 116 lb, and up to two of EDIC's 21 lb horseshoe weights can be added for more down pressure. It has steel and stainless steel construction, a chrome-plated motor cover, a black powder-coated brush cover, dual capacitors, 5-inch non-marking wheels, a non-marking PVC bumper and a 50 ft heavy-duty cord with a quick-disconnect pigtail. Dual metal switch levers allow left- or right-hand operation.
