“The Saturn 20LS3-BK-SV is EDIC's 20-inch low-speed floor machine for the everyday work a buffer gets: scrubbing, stripping, spray buffing and, with the optional tank, shampooing carpet. A 1.5 HP, 66-frame motor drives a severe-duty gearbox with triple planetary steel gears at 175 RPM, which suits janitorial crews, schools and building service contractors who need one machine for routine floor care and periodic strips.
Weight is what stands out. At 98 pounds the machine puts a lot of its own weight on the pad, and EDIC offers a 21-pound horseshoe weight (up to two) when a stubborn floor needs more down pressure. The switch levers work with either hand, the lockout lever keeps it from starting by accident, and the 50-foot cord detaches at the motor for service.
The trade-off is one speed. If you also want a faster setting for polishing, look at the Saturn 20DS3-BK-SV dual-speed (180/320 RPM); for gloss work on finished floors, a high-speed Saturn burnisher is the right tool.”

A 1.5 HP, 66-frame motor drives a severe-duty gearbox with triple planetary steel gears, and the machine weighs 98 lb (44.5 kg). It draws 14.4 amps on a 120-volt circuit through a 50-foot power cord that detaches at the motor.
Construction is steel and stainless steel with a black powder-coated brush cover, a non-marking PVC bumper and 5-inch non-marking wheels. The handle adjusts with a foot-operated mechanism and has anti-fatigue grips, dual metal switch levers for left- or right-hand use and a safety lockout lever. A 19-inch pad driver is included.
