“The Saturn 20DS3-BK-SV gives you two speeds in one 20-inch floor machine: 180 RPM for scrubbing and stripping, and 320 RPM when you want to polish or spray buff. It fits schools, churches, offices and contract cleaners who handle a mix of hard-floor maintenance and want one corded machine on the cart.
Underneath is a 1.5 HP, 66-frame motor driving triple planetary steel gears, with a black powder-coated brush cover, a lockout lever that keeps it from starting by accident, and a 50-foot cord. The speed switch sits behind the motor, and EDIC says to change speeds only after the motor has stopped completely. An optional 4-gallon shampoo tank lets it bonnet clean carpet too.
The trade-off is weight. At 92 pounds it's lighter than the 98-pound low-speed 20LS3-BK-SV, so if heavy stripping is most of the work, the single-speed model puts more weight on the pad. And 320 RPM is a polishing speed, not burnishing; for a high-gloss finish, look at the Saturn 20HS1500 or 20HS2000.”

The EDIC Saturn 20DS3-BK-SV is a 20-inch dual-speed floor machine that runs at 180 or 320 RPM, selected with a switch behind the motor. A 1.5 HP, 66-frame motor drives triple planetary steel gears, and the machine weighs 92 lb (41.7 kg). It draws 14.4 amps on a 120-volt circuit through a 50-foot power cord.
EDIC lists it for stripping, scrubbing, spray buffing, polishing, shampooing and bonnet cleaning. It has a black powder-coated brush cover, a non-marking PVC bumper, 5-inch non-marking wheels, a foot-operated handle adjustment with anti-fatigue grips and a safety lockout lever. A 19-inch pad driver is included, and a 4-gallon shampoo tank is optional.
