“The Hydromist Compact is a small all-in-one carpet extractor for spot cleaning and small to medium carpeted areas: offices, classrooms, hotel rooms, patient rooms and shops. It sprays, agitates and recovers in one pass, so one operator can clean traffic lanes and spills without bringing out a larger machine.
The standout is the powered rotating brush, which turns at 800 to 1,000 rpm across a 9.5-inch cleaning width to work solution into the pile and help lift soil. The 3.7-gallon solution tank and 3-gallon removable recovery tank keep the machine at 49.6 lb, and the handle folds down so it fits in a car or van between sites. Simple switches make it easy to hand to new staff.
The trade-off is size. With a 9.5-inch path this is a spot and small-area machine, not a production tool for open-plan offices or long corridors, where a larger self-contained extractor will finish much faster. Upholstery cleaning needs the optional accessory kit with hose and upholstery tool.”

The solution tank holds 3.7 gallons and the removable recovery tank holds 3 gallons, so emptying is quick. Simple switches run the machine, and the handle folds down for storage and transport in a vehicle. It weighs 49.6 lb and measures 21.3 x 14.2 x 34.3 inches with the handle up. A heavy-duty wand and an upholstery accessory kit are available.
