“The Ultra Speed Pro 1500 is a straightforward corded burnisher for keeping finished floors glossy between strip-and-recoat cycles. It spins a 20-inch pad at 1,500 rpm with a 1.5 hp DC rectified motor, which suits schools, retail floors, offices and healthcare corridors where a wet-look shine is the goal and an outlet is never far away.
What stands out is how little there is to learn. Fingertip controls, a handle-mounted safety lock-out switch and circuit breaker, and a foot-activated handle lock that lets the operator run it locked or floating keep training short. The chassis is cast aluminum, and at 88 pounds on two 5-inch wheels it moves between areas without much effort.
The trade-off is the cord. Fifty feet of safety-yellow cable means re-plugging and cord management on big open floors. If that is most of your burnishing, a battery machine such as Clarke's UltraSpeed 20 takes the cord out of the job.”

The Clarke Ultra Speed Pro 1500 is a corded burnisher with a 20-inch (50.8 cm) path. Its 1.5 hp (1.1 kW) DC rectified motor drives the pad at a consistent 1,500 rpm to bring finished floors to a wet-look shine. It runs on 110 V at 13.5 amps through a 50-foot safety-yellow power cable, and a flexible pad driver is included.
Fingertip controls, a handle-mounted safety lock-out switch and a handle-mounted circuit breaker are built into the handle. A foot-activated handle lock lets the operator run the machine with the handle locked or let it float. The all-metal machine has a cast aluminum chassis and two 5-inch non-marking grey wheels, weighs 88 lb (40 kg) and is rated at 68 dBA.
