“The Ultra Speed 20T is the traction version of Clarke's 20-inch battery burnisher. It has the same 2.5 hp pad motor, 2,000 rpm pad speed and self-regulating pad pressure as the Ultra Speed 20, but a transaxle drive moves the machine forward at up to 240 feet per minute and in reverse at up to 170. That takes the pushing out of long hallways and big open floors, so operators can keep a steady pace on longer routes. The deck lowers itself when the palm switches are pressed, and passive dust control with a felt seal, shroud and disposable filter bag is standard.
Both packages here include three 12-volt batteries and a 36-volt onboard charger. Pick the 200 Ah wet batteries if your team already waters batteries, or the 234 Ah AGM set for sealed, maintenance-free batteries with more amp-hours. If your floors are smaller and you don't need powered drive, the Ultra Speed 20 is the non-traction version.”
A 20-inch battery burnisher with power traction drive
The Clarke® Ultra Speed® 20T is the traction-drive version of the Ultra Speed 20 battery burnisher. A transaxle traction drive moves the machine forward and in reverse, while a 2.5 hp motor turns the 20-inch pad at 2,000 rpm. Self-regulating pad pressure, a self-lowering deck and palm-switch controls keep training short, and the tip-back design makes pad changes easy, with an angle-activated safety switch that keeps the machine from starting while tipped back. It is made for high-speed burnishing of finished hard floors, and Clarke rates it at 17,600 sq ft per hour in practical use.

Reading the model numbers: Nilfisk lists 56383522 as the Ultra Speed 20T with 200 Ah wet batteries and 56383524 as the Ultra Speed 20T with 234 Ah AGM batteries. T marks the traction model; the Ultra Speed 20 without the T is the non-traction version.
