Clarke says BOOST strips floor finish without chemicals and uses up to 70% less water and chemical than conventional scrubbing, so the 23-gallon tanks go further. Clarke rates it at 63 dBA, so it is quiet enough to run in occupied buildings.
Picking a package comes down to batteries and chemical. The 242 Ah wet set covers standard daily shifts. The 312 Ah AGM set has more capacity and never needs watering, which helps when nobody on the crew owns battery maintenance. Both have the onboard charger. Add the Chemical Mixing System if you want the machine to meter detergent instead of mixing it by hand in the tank.”
A 32-inch BOOST walk-behind scrubber for daily cleaning and chemical-free stripping
The Clarke Focus II Mid-Size BOOST 32 is a battery-powered, traction-drive walk-behind automatic floor scrubber with a 14 x 32 in (36 x 81 cm) BOOST® pad and 23 gal (87 L) solution and recovery tanks. BOOST Technology works the pad at 2,250 rpm instead of spinning a disc. Clarke says it reduces water and chemical use by up to 70%, extends pad life by 40% and can strip floor finish without chemicals. That makes it a fit for facilities with large hard floors that want one machine for daily scrubbing and for periodic finish removal. Gimbal-mounted pad drivers ride over uneven floors for even agitation. Two scrub pressure settings, a 0.12 gpm normal flow mode and a 63 dBA sound level round out the package.

Reading the model numbers: Nilfisk lists these as FOCUS II BOOST32 242AH (05381A) and 312AGM (05384A). The CHEM versions (05385A and 05388A) add the optional Chemical Mixing System, which mixes chemical and water in precise amounts. Every package has the onboard charger and the same scrub deck.
