“The BOOST 28 is the Focus II Mid-Size for people who strip and refinish floors themselves. Instead of a round disc, it drives a rectangular 14 x 28-inch pad at 2,250 RPM. With a maroon prep pad, Clarke says it removes floor finish without stripping chemicals, and the square pad scrubs right into corners. Schools and medical facilities that strip in-house can save labor, chemical and odor. It is also the quietest model in the family at 63 dB A.
For daily scrubbing, BOOST runs at a low solution rate, and Clarke rates it at up to 70% less water and chemical. Choose batteries by who maintains them: 242 Ah wet if you water batteries on a schedule, sealed 312 Ah AGM if you do not. Add the chemical mixing package if you want detergent dosed from the control panel.”
A 28-inch BOOST walk-behind scrubber that also removes floor finish
The Clarke Focus II Mid-Size BOOST 28 is a battery-powered, traction-drive walk-behind automatic scrubber built on Clarke BOOST Technology. Its high-speed rectangular pad holds solution in the pad and delivers it in measured pulses, so it can deep scrub, clean into corners, wet shine the floor to reduce burnishing, and remove floor finish chemical-free with a maroon prep pad. It suits VCT, sealed concrete and other hard floors.

Reading the model numbers: Clarke numbers this family by package. 05371A has 242 Ah wet batteries, 05374A has 312 Ah maintenance-free (AGM) batteries, and 05375A and 05378A add the onboard Chemical Mixing System. The optional Chemical Mixing System meters detergent into the solution flow, with the ounces-per-gallon setting on a knob at the control panel.
