"The Tennant T681 hits a really practical middle ground. It’s built for customers who have outgrown a walk-behind but don’t have the space, or budget, for a full-size rider. You get a noticeable bump in productivity and operator comfort without introducing a machine that feels oversized or complicated. It’s easy to train on, straightforward to maintain, and fits well in places like schools, retail, and healthcare where maneuverability still matters.

Where it earns its keep is routine cleaning. It covers ground efficiently and keeps operators moving, which is usually the real bottleneck. That said, it’s not designed for heavy industrial abuse or deep restorative work. If the floors are consistently rough or heavily soiled, you may start to see its limits.

Overall, the T681 makes the most sense as a smart step-up machine. Not flashy, not overbuilt, just a solid move for facilities trying to clean more with the same team."
